Terms of Service

Terms of service for Image to Layer
Oct 24, 2025

Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Image to Layer, an AI-powered image decomposition service that converts flat images into editable layered outputs. By accessing or using Image to Layer, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

Image to Layer lets users upload images, choose generation options and task parameters, and request AI-generated layered outputs. It is an independent interface built on top of third-party AI models and service providers. Supported outputs may include PNG, JPG, WebP, PSD, or other downloadable image assets. Some generations are asynchronous and may take time to complete.

When Image to Layer references supported models, providers, or integrations, those names identify third-party technology used to provide the service. Image to Layer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those model creators or providers unless expressly stated.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

User Content and Generated Outputs

You keep ownership of images, prompts, settings, task parameters, and other content you upload or provide to Image to Layer. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process that content. You grant Image to Layer and its service providers a limited license to host, store, transmit, process, transform, create intermediate files from, and display your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Subject to your rights in the input content, your compliance with these Terms, and any applicable third-party rights, you may use generated outputs for personal or commercial workflows. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to upload the input image and use any generated output.

AI outputs may be imperfect, incomplete, inaccurate, visually inconsistent, similar to third-party content, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that outputs will be unique, legally clear, error-free, commercially usable, editable in a particular way, or accepted by any platform, marketplace, client, or regulator.

Credits, Subscriptions, Cancellations, and Refunds

Image to Layer may use credits, monthly subscriptions, or paid plans. Credits may be consumed when a generation request is submitted, started, completed, or otherwise marked as billable, depending on the feature and task parameters.

If a verified technical failure in Image to Layer or an integrated service prevents a generation from completing, we will generally return the consumed credits for that failed task. Successful generations are not automatically refunded because the result does not match a subjective preference or expectation.

Monthly subscriptions can be canceled according to the billing flow available in your account or through customer support. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or expressly stated by us.

Paid fees, issued credits, and used credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law, where duplicate charges occur, or where a significant technical failure is confirmed by us.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Image to Layer to:

  • Upload content you do not have rights to use.
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.

Third-Party Services

Image to Layer may depend on third-party AI providers, Cloudflare R2 or S3-compatible storage, payment processors, authentication providers, email providers, analytics services, support tools, and hosting infrastructure. Their availability, terms, and privacy practices may affect the service. Some providers may process uploaded images, task parameters, generated outputs, intermediate files, and technical data as needed to complete tasks. We are not responsible for third-party interruptions, policy changes, or external service behavior beyond our reasonable control.

Image to Layer, including its website, interface, code, documentation, branding, and service technology, is owned by imagetolayer.com or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the service itself.

Infringement Complaints

If you believe content processed or published through Image to Layer infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, contact us at support@imagetolayer.com with enough information to identify the content, the rights claimed, evidence that you own or may act for those rights, your contact information, and a statement that the information you provide is accurate. We may remove or restrict access to content, suspend accounts, or take other appropriate action in response to valid complaints.
